i guess the dead of the night is the best time to post for me- -

i'be been seeing alot of news on the natural disasters and its really got me...thinking. just now i saw the news and it was mentioned that in some areas, the kids who are around the same age as us are only given abit of biscuit+500ml mineral water to survive for the day. compared to us in our luxurious comfort, i guess we are really..fortunate?

We would never realise what we have till we lose it; only then will we really treasure what we have. its like, even as we see what other people are going through we are never really able to comprehend and truely relate to their feelings? i dont know, its just, it would really seem natural for us to just stop and think after all that's happened in the world recently, stop and think about what we would feel if we are the ones affected. yea, i guess living in a safe environment has caused us to become, like lee kuan yew says, "arrogant".

Seriously man, singapore kids are spoilt. im starting to really detest singaporean kids, the way they act and all. not only the kids, but even the adults too. having explored various realms of the online world, i have realised that singaporean culture is really just..obscene. yes, obscene when compared to the cultures of other countries. I'm not trying to promote anti-singapore sentiments here, its just that behaviours of singaporeans nowadays are seriously intolerable even to onlookers. let me cite some examples.

firstly, let us take a look at the recent sichuan earthquake. lets focus our attention on the tourists who were stucked there and managed to get transported back. out of those who were interviewed, i realised a large number of them were openly showing their unhappiness at the authorities for not having given them transport back earlier, knowing that they were on NATIONAL TV. K, so you missed home, you are unhappy, FINE. but hey, cant you just freaking understand that the people there are SUFFERING FROM POSSIBLE DEATH, and that they should be attended to first? who gives a bloody damn about you if you have to wait a few more days? must you shout at the camera recording the interview just because the authorities chose to focus more on the lives of the citizens than a nameless TOURIST like you? seriously pissing to see a grown man behaving like that, one who knew fully well that he was being interviewed by mediacorp. Aiming to make yourself and singaporeans a name as the crappiest bunch of people? well CONGRATS, you have succeeded in showing the true colours of singaporeans to whoever out there is watching the news, want a medal now? utter selfcentredness,"for mine own good,all cause shall give way" attitude, a true epitome of a bullcrap singaporean. Education the problem? yes perhaps, seeing from the crude manner those people were putting their speech together. You could say that this is elitism, but think again, cause what i am targetting is the MORAL VALUES of this people, and not the number of A1s they scored in their schooling years.

and then we have the kids. ah yes, kids who can't even survive a day on sweet potatoes. oh wait, i mean HALF a day or less, in school. i seriously wish a natural disaster would just strike singapore on a small scale, at least enough to slap these brats in their face and jerk them back to reality and make them realise that having sweet potatoes for a meal could be something they might one day YEARN for, instead of complaning like nobody's business.

See the huge contrast now? we've got kids complaining about sweet potatoes for a emergency exercise, and they've got kids surviving a full day only on a piece of biscuit. And of course, we've got the boney african kids, but lets not delve deeper into that shall we...

yes, you could say "thats them what, singapore wont have such thing one la! eat sweet potato for what, waste time, as if we will tio earthquake like that. singapore safe one!!!"

take things for granted and you will be granted the worst possible things.thats all i can tell you.


and thats not all i have to say about singaporean kids, i've got many more experiences to share from online escapades. but its sort of late, so i guess i shall stop here.
