ah well, almost a week since school started, and i think everyone's just kinda preoccupied with adapting back to the busy life. anyway, the weekends are coming soon, so, let's just bear with it, haha.

ok, something more 'exciting' - the movie outing thing. suggested time and place? haha. we could probably go next weekend, since it's youth day on sunday and most probably, or at least hopefully, we get a break on monday too, hmm. the movie vouchers are valid til 31 july, yea.

i want another bestie outing soon :)

mm it's second day of school, how do yall feel about it- -'' well, i think school life is always boring, HAHA.

im very bored, and i can sort of feel the stress level increasing- -'' xian, i don want to go jc next yearD:

anyway, looks like we all need to face the facts that school starts in less than 24 hours. *moans and groans and whines* i seriously dislike waking up early. bleagh.

but, enough of ranting, let's make it a good start to the 2nd semester, yup.

as mentioned on the tagboard, i've got movie ticket vouchers for cineleisure, thanks to my insane love for peel-fresh orange and apple aloe vera juice. so now i've got like, 4 vouchers in my fridge. something like $6 for a weekday ticket instead of the usual $7.50, and $8 instead of $10.50 for the weekend tickets.

anyway my point is that we could probably go catch a movie on youth day holiday or something. we could watch '21' :D seems quite interesting, haha. and yes there's youth day coming up on 6 july, but i wonder why it's on a sunday...

so, for those rushing last minute homework, jiayou :D

i'm off to see the doctor for my tormenting headache. it's already the 4th day :X

our blog is quite errr, dead. haha how's june hols been?:) since we have less than two days left, we shall just try to enjoy as much as we can[: haha jiayou bah.

yosh ppl, i am back~ kao, went back once never even buy anything back for you all... i am so sorry... there is reason, i din even had the time to go for my own shopping... and i am sad~ my books~~~~~

went back and did a check up on my body, seems to be fine=) every single day there is someone who invites my family for dinner, lunch, etc.... i think i gained weight...

anyway, i am back, and the next time i go back must be over 2 weeks time, if not i am not going to go back again... such a hurry. and the stupid airplane ride, nearly killed me, 17 hours of journey back to singapore, including time waiting at airport and on the road, i am dead.

hmm, the blog's been rather dead recently, maybe because there isn't much stuff going on in our lives, haha.

anyway, sad to say, the holidays are ending, but we can't have any besties outing since our schedules are just totally conflicting, and some of us haven't exactly finished our holiday homework, including myself -.-

anyway kaini, yea i got your email, but ignored it until now, heh. but not to worry, im doing research for it currently.

oh oh, liuchang's back in singapore :) LIUCHANG I HOPE YOU'RE SEEING THIS :D i miss you! ^.^ and i miss the other 3 of you as well, aww.

anyhow, just to remind all of you to treasure the remaining few days of the holidays (if it was ever considered one), and i guess we ought to start getting mentally prepared for all that's to come for the second half of the year, oh well.

nevertheless, let's just have a positive attitude towards the future yea. cheers :)

Jim and Mary were both patients in a Mental Hospital.

One day while they were walking past the hospital swimming pool, Mary suddenly jumped into the deep end. She sunk to the bottom and stayed there.

Jim promptly jumped in to save her. He swam to the bottom and pulled Mary out. When the medical director became aware of Jim's heroic act he immediately ordered him to be discharged from the hospital, as he now considered him to be mentally stable.

When he went to tell Jim the news he said, "Jim, I have good news and bad news for you. The good news is you're being discharged because since you were able to jump in and save the life of another patient, I think you've regained your senses. The bad news is, Mary, the patient you saved, hung herself with her dressing gown belt in the bathroom. I am so sorry, but she's
dead."

Jim replied, "She didn't hang herself. I put her there to dry."

joke of the day : THE CURTAIN RODS

A woman had just divorced with her husband. She spent the first day packing her belongings into boxes, crates and suitcases. On the second day, she had the movers come and collect her things. On the third day, she sat down for the last time at their beautiful dining room table by candlelight, put on some soft background music, and feasted on a pound of shrimp, a jar of caviar, and a bottle of Chardonnay. When she had finished, she went into each and every room and deposited a few half-eaten shrimp shells dipped in caviar, into the hollows of the curtain rods. She then cleaned up the kitchen and left.

When the husband returned with his new girlfriend, all was bliss for the first few days. Then slowly, the house began to smell. They tried everything, cleaning, mopping, and airing the place out. Vents were checked for dead rodents, and carpets were steam cleaned. Air fresheners were hung everywhere. Exterminators were brought in to set off gas canisters, during which they had to move out for a few days, and in the end they even paid to replace the expensive wool carpeting. Nothing worked. People stopped coming over to visit. Repairmen refused to work in the house. The maid quit. Finally, they could not take the stench any longer and decided to move.

A month later, even though they had cut their price in half, they could not find a buyer for their stinky house. Word got out, and eventually, even the local realtors refused to return their calls. Finally, they had to borrow a huge sum of money from the bank to purchase a new place.

The ex-wife called her ex-husband, and asked how things were going. He told her the saga of the rotting house. She listened politely, and said that she missed her old home terribly, and would be willing to reduce her divorce settlement in exchange for getting the house back. Knowing his ex-wife had no idea how bad the smell was, he agreed on a price that was about 1/10th of what the house had been worth, but only if she were to sign the papers that very day. She agreed, and within the hour his lawyers delivered the paperwork.

A week later the man and his girlfriend stood smiling as they watched the moving company pack everything to take to their new home... including the curtain rods.
